Dr Khor Wei Boon is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in Cornea and External Eye Diseases and Refractive Surgery. He is in full-time practice at the Singapore Eye & Vision clinic in Paragon Medical and also serves as a Visiting Consultant with the Shinagawa Eye Centre and the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC).

Areas of Expertise
Dr Khor’s clinical expertise covers a wide range of ophthalmic conditions and advanced surgical techniques, including:
- Cataract Surgery – suture-less phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implants (monofocal, multifocal, toric, EDOF)
- Corneal Transplantation – partial-thickness lamellar transplant techniques such as DSAEK and DALK
- Refractive Surgery – LASIK, SMILE, and TransPRK to correct vision and reduce dependence on glasses or contact lenses
- Corneal Infections & Ocular Allergies – diagnosis and treatment for both children and adults
Research & Publications
- Published widely in international peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and American Journal of Ophthalmology (AJO)
- Research focus includes infectious keratitis and advances in corneal transplantation techniques
