About Leslie Lam
Dr. Leslie Lam is a Cardiologist practicing at The Cardiac Centre, Farrer Park Medical Centre. Dr. Lam obtained his Bachelor of Medicine (MB), Bachelor of Surgery (BCh), Bachelor of Obstetrics (BAO), University College, Dublin, Ireland in 1967.
After his medical training, Dr. Lam did his Cardiac Fellowship at the Cardiothoracic Institute, Brompton Hospital, London. Dr. Lam then served as a Senior Registrar at the Singapore General Hospital in 1982 and was promoted to Consultant in 1985.
Dr. Lam was a visiting consultant at the Changi General Hospital and the National Heart Centre since 1997 and 1998 respectively. About Gerard Leong
Dr. Gerard Leong is a Specialist in Cardiology, sub-specializing in echocardiography imaging, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, including cardio-oncology care and resistant hypertension care. He also has a specialty interest in ischemic heart disease, especially appropriate use of stenting or bypass surgery and strategies to reduce the risk of stroke and dementia.
Between 2017 to 2020, Dr. Leong was Medical Director at Thomson Cardiology Centre before setting up his practice. Before this, Dr. Leong was a senior consultant in the Department of Cardiology in Changi General Hospital (CGH) from 2012-2017 and the Director of the CGH's Heart Failure Program from 2006 to 2017. He also had established and led the hospital's Heart Failure Program from 2006 to 2017.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1994, obtained his Royal College of Physicians (UK) membership in 2001, and specialist accreditation in Cardiology in Singapore in 2005. Subsequently, Dr. Leong underwent advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship training in Massachusetts General Hospital, an affiliate hospital of Harvard Medical School, in Boston, the USA, from Jul 2007 to Jun 2008 on the Human Manpower Development Program (HMDP) scholarship from the Ministry of Health (MOH), Singapore.
Dr. Leong obtained his Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh) Fellowship in 2011 and further underwent clinical and hands-on training in renal sympathetic denervation in hypertension and heart failure at The Alfred Health, Melbourne, Australia, in 2013 on a second HMDP scholarship from MOH, Singapore. Dr. Leong passed his Examination of Special Competence in Adult Echocardiography and obtained his Diplomate certification from the USA National Board of Echocardiography in June 2015.
Dr. Leong has published numerous papers and books on heart failure and renal denervation in resistant hypertension. His clinical aim is to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients by applying appropriate evidence-based care.
Dr Leong's specialty interests are cardio-oncology, cardiomyopathy, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, resistant hypertension care, cardio-obstetrics and echocardiography imaging in heart care.

About Lim Ing Haan
Dr Lim Ing Haan is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist trained in managing complex coronary artery disease. Dr Lim Ing Haan obtained her MBBS degree in National University of Singapore in 1995. After completing her basic specialist training in Internal Medicine at TTSH and NUH, Dr Lim became Member of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh) in 2001, and proceeded to advanced specialist training in Cardiology in 2001. About Lim Tai Tian
Dr. Lim Tai Tian graduated cum laude from the School of Medicine at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 1983 and completed his two-year internship cum laude at Academisch Medisch Centrum (AMC) in Amsterdam The Netherlands in 1986. He then did 5 years of Internal Medicine training at the AMC and became a certified specialist in Internal Medicine in 1991. He continued with training in Cardiology at the Singapore General Hospital in Singapore from 1991 to 1993 and then continued his subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Stanford University U.S.A. from 1993 to 1996.
After his fellowship at Stanford, Dr. Lim joined the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Medicine and a Consultant Cardiologist in the Department of Cardiology at the National University Hospital. From 2000 to 2005 Dr. Lim worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at the National Heart Centre (NHC), before moving to private practice. When Dr. Lim was working at NUS and NHC, he was the local principal investigator for a number of international multi center clinical trials both for medical devices and new drugs. His experimental work was in stent coatings for sustained drug release, which resulted in a number of patents. Dr. Lim is still involved in drug delivery systems in Cardiology, one of which is in clinical trials in humans in Europe. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Clinquest Inc., a drug development company in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
Dr. Lim’s subspecialty within Cardiology is in the field of Interventional Cardiology. He has a special interest in complex angioplasty/stenting procedures. About Woo Jia Wei
Dr Woo Jia Wei is an Internist and Cardiologist with Sunrise Heart and Internal Medicine Clinic. He is also a Visiting Consultant Cardiologist to National University Heart Centre Singapore.
After receiving his medical training in Melbourne and working as a doctor in Melbourne, Australia, Dr Woo Jia Wei decided to move back to Singapore to serve his home nation. He trained in adult internal medicine and cardiology with the National University Hospital. He was then accredited as a cardiologist specialist. During his time there, he was hand picked to represent Singapore in an International Cardiology Competition and emerged as runner-up.
He subsequently received subspecialty training in advanced cardiac imaging. He received formal training in cardiac CT with world renowned John Hopkins Hospital in America as well as with Harefield Hospital in the United Kingdom. He trained in adult echocardiography and advanced cardiac imaging techniques using trans-esophageal echocardiology and transthoracic echocardiography at the National University Heart Centre. He then received a diplomate in adult echocardiography from the American Society of Echocardiography. He also has experience in interventional echocardiography and use of 3D and 4D imaging techniques to guide minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
He had also presented in several International Cardiology and Medical Conferences as guest speaker and published in several International Peer-reviewed journals. He was also appointed to be a reviewer in several international journals.
His interests lie in advanced cardiac imaging using echocardiography, adult general medicine, community and preventive cardiology. Due to the high burden of cardiovascular disease in the community, he firmly believes in proper lifestyle measures and management of cardiac risk factors to prevent cardiac events in the community. He also has a special interest in a smoking cessation and weight loss programs.
