About Lim Ing Haan
Dr Lim Ing Haan is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist trained in managing complex coronary artery disease. Dr Lim Ing Haan obtained her MBBS degree in National University of Singapore in 1995. After completing her basic specialist training in Internal Medicine at TTSH and NUH, Dr Lim became Member of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh) in 2001, and proceeded to advanced specialist training in Cardiology in 2001. Her general cardiology fellowship was completed in Tan Tock Seng Hospital between 2001-4. This was followed by training in Interventional cardiology in National University Hospital in 2004 and in Duke University Medical Centre in 2005-6 under the HMDP scholarship from Ministry of Health. About Lim Tai Tian
Dr. Lim Tai Tian graduated cum laude from the School of Medicine at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 1983 and completed his two-year internship cum laude at Academisch Medisch Centrum (AMC) in Amsterdam The Netherlands in 1986. He then did 5 years of Internal Medicine training at the AMC and became a certified specialist in Internal Medicine in 1991. He continued with training in Cardiology at the Singapore General Hospital in Singapore from 1991 to 1993 and then continued his subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Stanford University U.S.A. from 1993 to 1996.
After his fellowship at Stanford, Dr. Lim joined the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Medicine and a Consultant Cardiologist in the Department of Cardiology at the National University Hospital. From 2000 to 2005 Dr. Lim worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at the National Heart Centre (NHC), before moving to private practice. When Dr. Lim was working at NUS and NHC, he was the local principal investigator for a number of international multi center clinical trials both for medical devices and new drugs. His experimental work was in stent coatings for sustained drug release, which resulted in a number of patents. Dr. Lim is still involved in drug delivery systems in Cardiology, one of which is in clinical trials in humans in Europe. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Clinquest Inc., a drug development company in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
Dr. Lim’s subspecialty within Cardiology is in the field of Interventional Cardiology. He has a special interest in complex angioplasty/stenting procedures. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore and the Royal Netherlands Medical Association. Dr. Lim Is a visiting consultant at the Juradong Park Gleneagles Heart Centre Brunei.
