Cancer is the leading cause of death in Singapore. Cancers are curable if they are found and treated at an early stage, but most cancers do not have symptoms until they are advanced. The aim of comprehensive cancer screening is to detect these cancers at an early stage and help prevent cancer by treating pre-cancerous problems before they turn malignant. Screening should be even if you have no symptoms but fall under the criteria for screening. This talk will help you know if you should go for screening for the various common cancers. In this video, Dr. Melvin Look, Director of PanAsia Surgery, shares his insights.
