About Eu Kong Weng
Dr Eu Kong Weng is a general surgeon currently practising in Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. Dr Eu specialises in treating colorectal conditions through the use of minimally invasive and robotics assisted laparoscopic techniques.
Dr Eu brings with him more than 25 years of experience in treating colorectal condition, including eight years as the head of the Singapore General Hospital’s Department of Colorectal Surgery from 2003 to 2010. He was also the director of the SGH Tripartite Robotics Assisted Laparoscopic Surgery Project, an initiative that pioneers cutting-edge surgical technologies. Having conducted over 600 laparoscopic colon and rectal operations and over 50 robotic colorectal resections, Dr Eu is one of Singapore’s most experienced doctors in the field of minimally- invasive colorectal surgeries.
