Dr Foo Chek Siang is a Senior Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon, and the current Medical Director of Clinic for Digestive Surgery, which has been in operation at Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre since 2012. He had previously trained in a double fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal Surgery at Hopital Bagatelle in Bordeaux, France, and subsequently in Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Work at St George Hospital in Sydney. His Surgical repetoire encompasses Laparoscopic Surgical Oncology in Oesophageal, Stomach and Colon Cancer, Functional Surgery for Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease and Metabolic Surgery for Weight-Loss. Dr. Foo believes that advanced surgical techniques can always be delivered at cost effectiveness and with timely expediency.
