About Abdul Rehman Rashid
Dr Rashid graduated from Kings College London, UK in 2004. After his graduation, he undertook further training for a year in oral and maxillo-facial surgery as a Senior House Officer at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield and a one-year multi-system implantology course at Trafford General Hospital in Manchester under the tutelage of Professor Cemal Ucer.
Dr Rashid has practised in both the public and private sectors in the UK and Singapore prior to joining FDC Group. Dr Rashid is also the Group Clinical Director who mentors the new dentists and is responsible for grading and assessing all conditional registered dentists in the Group.
Dr Rashid has a special interest in dental implants, orthodontics (braces), Invisalign and minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry. His expertise also includes treating patients with dental phobia and anxiety-related issues. By using a combination of different relaxation techniques and behaviour management skill, he has helped patients come to terms with their problems, enabling them to undergo treatment comfortably.
