Dr Tey Tze Tong graduated from the National University of Singapore, and is a specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Asia Digestive Associates @ Farrer. He is experienced in managing a wide range of digestive and liver conditions. His specialty interests are in Abdominal Pain, General Gastroenterology, Stomach and Colon Cancer Screening, Liver Diseases, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Dr Tey routinely performs endoscopy procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver conditions. Prior to joining private practice, he was a consultant gastroenterologist and headed the IBD service at Sengkang General Hospital.
He continues to be a visiting consultant there. Dr Tey is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore and the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh). He was awarded the Singapore Health Quality Service Award – Gold and Star awards, the Singhealth Senior Educator Award, and Singhealth Residency Outstanding Faculty Award.
